The morning felt heavier than usual as Kowshik and the family prepared to leave. Bags were packed, last-minute instructions were exchanged, and the house that had been filled with laughter just days ago now carried a strange silence. Meenakshi stood a little away from the rest, her fingers nervously twisting the edge of her dupatta. Her eyes kept searching for Jeeva, as if trying to hold onto every second before he left. There was so much she wanted to say, but words failed her.
