After a few days, Keshav was finally discharged from the hospital. The journey back home was quiet — Arav drove steadily, occasionally glancing at Keshav through the rearview mirror to make sure he wasn’t uncomfortable. Keshav leaned against the window, watching the city lights flicker past. There was something oddly peaceful about returning to a familiar place after weeks of sterile hospital walls and constant monitoring.
