Author's POV:
Keshav took the garbage bag from under the sink, tied it neatly, and walked outside to throw it in the dustbin. The faint rustle of the plastic bag was followed by the metallic clank of the lid closing. When he came back in, he washed his hands in the sink beside the kitchen counter, the sound of running water filling the brief silence in the house. Malav joined him, rinsing his hands too, and both of them settled comfortably in the living room. The faint hum of the ceiling fan and the distant sounds of evening traffic made the place feel calm and lived-in.
